They are suitable for recreation at any time of year, especially in summer and autumn, when one hears a rustle of the forest, a babble of crystal clear streams, when wild berries ripen and wild mushrooms raise their caps. Winter offers ski tracks, ice fishing or hunting. In many parks a visitor will discover mysterious mounds and sacred forests from heathen times.
